Jobworthy (“we”) runs Jobworthy. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. In short: we use your information only to give you your verdicts and documents, we never sell it, and you can export or delete it at any time.

What we collect

  • What you give us: your CV and profile, job postings you add, notes, contacts you import, offers you enter and the wins you log.
  • Your email address, if you sign in, and billing details handled by our payment provider (we never see your full card number).
  • Basic product events, such as “verdict completed”, without the content of your CV or jobs, so we can see what's working.
  • A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a small cookie that remembers which of two page designs you were randomly shown, so we can compare them. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

How we use it

  • To read job postings, produce verdicts, tailored CVs, cover letters, prep packs and drafts for you.
  • To send the emails you ask for: sign-in links and watchlist alerts.
  • To run, secure and improve the service, and to process payments.

AI processing

To generate results, the relevant parts of your profile and the job are sent to AI model providers through an AI gateway. We only use providers that don't train models on it or collect it for their own purposes. It's used to produce your results, not to advertise to you. Web research features send company names and job details to a search service.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run Jobworthy (hosting, AI processing, email delivery and payments), under agreements that protect it, or when the law requires it. We never sell your data.

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our reseller and merchant of record, which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and the status of your subscription, never your card details.

Fetching job pages

When you paste a link, our server fetches that one page on your behalf, identifies itself, and respects sites that ask automated readers not to visit. The exception is LinkedIn, whose public job pages we read for LinkedIn links you paste and for Discover. We don't read pages that need you to sign in. More about JobworthyBot.

Retention and your rights

  • Export everything as a file from Settings at any time.
  • Delete your account from Settings, which permanently removes your data from our systems, apart from records we must keep by law (such as invoices).
  • Anonymous workspaces you never return to are deleted after 12 months of inactivity.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have further rights (access, correction, objection). Contact us and we'll help.
